GUVEN®️ Mechanical clamshell touch down grabs enable the most efficient handling of bulk materials together with hook connect cranes. We offer a wide range of clamshell grabs for various applications and for materials of different weights, such as grain, gravel, soya, clinker, coal, pebbles, sand, fertilizers, aggregates, gypsum, biomass and etc. We also manufacture attachments that are customized for customer specific needs.
GUVEN® Mechanical Clamshell Touch-down Grabs cannot open on the air, need to touch the floor or hopper to open (to discharge cargoes). Actually, it is previous version of Radio Remote Control Grabs.

Features
Working System
The grab is manually opened by making contact with the floor or hopper, allowing the buckets to release and secure the material. Closing is achieved through the lifting motion of the crane, which raises the grab from the ground to securely close its jaws around the load.
Smooth Opening System
Equipped with a damping cylinder to ensure smooth opening, with the opening speed adjustable via a regulator valve on the cylinder.

Enclosed and open designs are available and can be selected based on operational conditions to enhance productivity and improve pickup efficiency.
